We're on a Mission to #EmpowerGirls!
Authentic Girl Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to #EmpowerGirls through real connection, community, and conversation! Our local clubs and online programs for girls ages 13-22 focus on boosting confidence and self-esteem so girls can live their happiest and healthiest lives!
Authentic Girl Foundation grew from a desire to continue the work created by our founder, Joy Robinson, who in 2011 launched Girls Support Network, a nonprofit empowerment program for middle school girls. GSN was a monthly event that brought together large groups of 6-8th grade girls, led by high school girl volunteers, for an evening of fun, learning, and empowerment in Southern California. The meetings included games, guest speakers, small group discussions, and journaling time.
In an effort to grow and reach more girls, GSN transitioned into what is now Authentic Girl Foundation, with meetings designed for smaller groups hosted right in girls' homes across the United States. Through our Clubs Program, girls can apply to become a Club President and work directly with us to bring empowerment meetings to Club Members in her own community.
And through our Online Programs like #AuthenticGirlTalk and Ambassadors, we are building a community of like-minded girls who support each other and engage on a regular basis.
We hope you enjoy our clubs and online community, and we hope you live an authentic life full of empowerment and pursuing your passions. In doing so, you will find happiness and shine brightly in this world.
